I kept silent, though I loved you too.

You said, “Can I hug you?”
But you were holding her hand.
You said, “Later I will let her go.”
I kept silent, though I want to feel you too.

You said, “Can I kiss you?”
But you will hurt her heart.
You said, “I don’t love her anymore.”
I kept silent. Please don’t break her heart.

You said, “Please wait for me.”
But it took you so long.
I am so damned heartbroken.
I loved you even before, but she owns you.

You said, “I love you.”
Now Leslie has set me free.
Can I hug you?
Can I kiss you?
Will you love me too?

I said, “No.”
Someone found me when you left,
When you went away,
Trying to break your chains from her.
